LANGUAGE LEVELS AND STUDYING TIMES

LEVELS & STUDYING TIMES

EADEO language courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Developed by the Council of Europe, it differentiates between language levels A1 and A2 (basic command of language), B1 and B2 (independent command of language) and C1 and C2 (competent command of language).

The following overview includes a description of the language knowledge at each of the 6 levels. It also indicates approximately the number of lessons required to accomplish a level. This information is intended as guidance. Success, of course, largely depends on the motivation of learners, group size (in private lessons, fewer lessons are required per level), the time available, etc.
